Terms of service

These terms apply to engagements booked with SCALENetDev for ledger validation and related financial auditing support.

## Acceptance By requesting a quote, confirming an engagement, or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you are booking on behalf of a finance office or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. ## Services SCALENetDev provides professional ledger validation, reconciliation review, multi-office consistency checks, and documentation readiness support as described on this site. Written statements of work or email confirmations define the scope for each engagement. Website descriptions are informational and do not replace the confirmed scope. ## Client responsibilities You agree to provide accurate trial balances, source documents, and timely access to clerks or systems needed for testing. Delays in document delivery may shift timelines and fees as disclosed in the quote. ## Intellectual property Workpapers and validation memos prepared for you may be used internally by your organisation. SCALENetDev retains ownership of methodologies, templates, and preexisting materials. You may not resell our memos as your own advisory product. ## Fees and payment Fees are agreed before fieldwork begins. Invoices are due as stated on the invoice. Informational prices on the Fees page are starting points only. ## Liability To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of Taiwan (TW), SCALENetDev is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our work. Our aggregate liability for an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot be limited by law. Our work is not a substitute for a statutory audit opinion unless a separate engagement expressly states otherwise. ## Confidentiality Both parties will protect non-public financial information shared during an engagement and use it only to perform or receive the services. ## Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (TW). Courts in Taiwan have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or related engagements, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where applicable. ## Changes We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
