Refund policy

## Eligibility Refunds apply to prepaid engagement fees for ledger validation, reconciliation review, multi-office consistency checks, and documentation readiness work booked with SCALENetDev. ## Timeframe to request Submit refund or cancellation requests by email to hello@scalenetdev.digital within fourteen days of payment if fieldwork has not started, or as soon as you need to cancel after kickoff. ## Full refund A full refund is available when you cancel before the kickoff call and before any document intake has begun, provided notice arrives at least five business days before the scheduled start. ## Partial refund If fieldwork has started, we refund the unused portion after deducting time already spent on scoping, document review, sampling, or memo drafting, billed at the rates implied by your quote. ## Non-refundable items Third-party costs already incurred with your written approval (for example specialised courier of original vouchers) are non-refundable. Deposits marked non-refundable in a statement of work remain non-refundable once fieldwork begins. ## Process Email hello@scalenetdev.digital with your engagement reference, payment date, and reason. We confirm the refundable amount within five business days. ## Processing time and method Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within ten to fifteen business days after confirmation, subject to your bank’s posting times. ## Cancellation and rescheduling You may reschedule once without fee when notice arrives at least five business days before start. Later reschedules may incur a fee of up to twenty percent of the engagement fee to cover reserved auditor time. Festival-week slots are limited; missed slots may need a new quote. ## No-shows and access failures If clerks or documents are unavailable on agreed on-site days without twenty-four hours’ notice, that day may be charged and removed from the refundable balance. ## Work already started Validation memos, matrices, and binders already delivered remain billable.
